ANTI-SLAVERY POLICY STATEMENT.

Modern slavery is a crime and a violation of basic human rights.
It takes various forms such as slavery, servitude, forced and compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which deprive the persons’ liberty by another to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.

Noveltyspirits has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, and we are committed to acting ethically and with integrity in our business dealings and relationships with our employees, our suppliers and supply chain, consistent with our obligations under The Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Noveltyspirits expects the same high standards from all our contractors, suppliers, and other business partners, and we expect that our suppliers will hold their own suppliers to the same high standards.

This policy applies to all persons working for us, or on our behalf and in any capacity. This policy does not form part of any employees’ contact of employment, and we reserve the right to vary or amend it at any time.

Responsibility for the policy.
Noveltyspirits has overall responsibility for ensuring this policy complies with our legal and ethical obligations, and that all those under our control, comply with it. Noveltyspirits has primary day to day responsibility implementing this policy and procedures, ensuring they are effective in countering modern slavery.

Compliance with the policy.
All employees must ensure they read, understand, and comply with this policy. The prevention, detection, and reporting of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chain is the responsibility of all those working for us and under our control. You are required to avoid any activity that may lead to, or suggest a breach of this policy, and you must notify your manager if you believe or suspect there has been a breach, as soon as possible.
You are encouraged to raise concerns about any issue of modern slavery in any part of our business or supply chains, and you must notify your manager if you believe or suspect there has been a breach, as soon as possible.

This policy statement is intended for businesses in all countries, especially in the United Kingdom.

If you are unsure if a particular act, the treatment of workers more generally, or their working conditions within our supply chain constitutes any of the various forms of modern slavery, you must notify your manager if you believe or suspect there has been a breach, as soon as possible.
Noveltyspirits is committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting in good faith any form of modern slavery.

Detrimental treatment includes dismissal, disciplinary action, threats, or any other unfavourable treatment connected with raising a concern.

If you believe you have suffered any such treatment, you should inform your manager as soon as possible.

Communication with suppliers and the supply chain.
Noveltyspirits communicates our zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery to all suppliers, contractors, and business partners at the outset of our business relationship. Noveltyspirits asks all suppliers, contractors, and business partners to confirm they implement and enforce their own obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015, either by providing noveltyspirts with a copy of their Modern Slavery Act 2015 Policy or by providing a Letter of Assurance, indicating their compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 Policy. Each contract to a supplier, contractor, and business partner is made in good faith by noveltyspirits, on the basis all suppliers, contractors, and business partners have acted ethically and with integrity when assessing their obligations to their onward supply chains and partners.
Noveltyspirits retains the Modern Slavery Act 2015 policy statements or Letters of Assurance from all suppliers, contractors, and business partners. Copies of these documents can be inspected at our offices by giving 28 days’ notice in writing by Companies or Organisations, prior to entering into a business relationship with noveltyspirits.
